The Front Runner Coaching team are excited to have Sports Dietitian Simone Allen from Nutrition Works present the first of two Sports Nutrition Workshops for junior runners.
This first workshop will focus on everyday nutritional basics for the junior endurance athlete, including:
- Training nutrition for performance & recovery – hydration & carbohydrate strategies pre, during & post training
- An athlete checklist for competition day – implement appropriate timing of meals & snacks across different race itineraries
This session is FREE for Front Runner juniors on an Emerging or Development membership or can be attended casually via a 1 session pass ($17.50).
